The Journey

Destinations & Travel Articles

By far the question I am asked the most is - "I have a 4x4 or I'm considering buying a 4x4, but where can I take it?"
Not a silly question considering so many people have an off road vehicle and have never ventured off the bitumen. This because they simply don't know what their vehicles and capable of and where they can go to explore and enjoy our beautiful country and experience picturesque camping spots so close to our main cities.

At The Journey we endeavour to answer your questions and provide a trip reports and travel articles on awesome 4x4, camping and travel destinations close to our main cities plus our remarkable & remote outback.
